Good Samaritan Health Services was formed in 1998 through the partnership of In His Image and Cornerstone Assistance Network to mobilize churches to start weekly medical clinics for those without access to quality, affordable health care. two mobile medical units are in use – one a 35-ft mobile van and the second a 60-ft tractor trailer unit. Nearly 47,000 patient visits have been recorded. (6,500 in 2008 alone.) St. John’s, Hillcrest and Saint Francis hospitals and several major foundations are among the partners.
